The unification movement with RTS Industry positions the company strategically in the industrial automation and robotics market

The advancement of Randon Companies in innovative solutions for industry has reached a new stage. The Company announces the full acquisition of Auttom Automação e Robótica, a benchmark in the industrial technology segment. This repositioning includes the unification of the structures of Auttom and RTS Industry, reinforcing the synergy between the units to enhance the development of industrial automation solutions for the market.

Supported by the robustness of Randon Companies, Auttom expanded its participation and portfolio of industrial robotics and automation processes in the different segments where its customers and partners operate. Project development grew 83% over the last two years. During this period, the business internationalization process also gained strength, with the opening of a branch in the United States to expand commercial operations and sales in the North American market.

The acquisition of Auttom, which took place in mid-2021, was for an 80% stake in the company. That same year, Randon Companies created RTS Industry, an automation unit focused on industrial technology solutions, aiming to meet the demands of the company’s other business units. 

“By uniting competencies, we provide more robustness to our operations. Thus, we add even more value by delivering solutions to Auttom customers, and are able to accelerate and develop automation projects adapted to the demands of our partners. This movement is another step in our strategy, which favors the entire market and also strengthens the evolution of projects in the technology units for all Randon Companies,” said Director of Innovation and Advanced Technology César Augusto Ferreira.

With this move, consolidated this Tuesday, March 28th, Auttom industrial operation will be expanded and transferred to RTS Industry headquarters in the Interlagos neighborhood of Caxias do Sul, RS. As a benchkmark for industrial automation processes, Auttom develops customized industrial automation solutions, such as robotic cells, assembly lines, special machines and electrical panels, including software architecture design and technical feasibility and installation studies. Team training and preparation of technical reports are other services provided.
